Well, so far the highlights of the trip have been experiencing the city, getting lost on foot a few times, the art institute and almost walking into Roger Ebert as he ducked into the four seasons (his license plates on his black SUV, by the way, read "MOVIES"). We also tootled around the loop and the bucktown/whicker park neighborhood which is very artsy and reminds me of a mix of capital hill in seattle with hawthorne in portland.

Tomorrow, Museum of Natural History, Musuem of Contemporary Photography and more food.

By the way, I am so tired that I realized I have let my capitalization fall off. st. e.e. cummings has forgiven me.

A good time was had by all with Mandi, Nate and Sophie. The one funny from the weekend was when Elliott asked Nate: Why does Sophie have long hair?
Nate: Becuase we like her with long hair. Why don't you have long hair?
Elliott: Because we don't like mullets.

You may remember the time when the barber asked Elliott how he would like his hair he said: I want a mullet just like Mandi.

Apparently he has changed his mind.
